Leaders are often noted for what they say. After all, leaders are good communicators and as such enjoy firing up the troops with some motivational words that offer some profound encouragement. But, there are times when the leader needs to be quiet. Sometimes saying what’s on your mind could be inappropriate or simply not advisable. Mastering the discipline of keeping your lips closed can save you a lot of grief and preserve your stature as a smart leader.
